High Plains is run by Julie Howard, who is a qualified BHS instructor, assisted by Sarah Linton, qualified to BHSAI level. Both Julie and Sarah can teach beginners, through to those competing at affiliated level in each of the main disciplines.

At present we can only teach people on their own horses as we do not run as a riding school with horses for hire.

We also run stable management courses for adults and children, accredited as recognised British Horse Society Certificates and Pony Club tests and you don't need to own a horse for this.

Visiting instructors hold clinics arranged by us a regular intervals to provide a wide selection of training choices.

We can also accompany nervous riders with their own horses around our woodland ride if a little confidence boost is needed.
