Woodland Ride

The Woodland Ride meanders through stunning countryside overlooking the beautiful Tyne Valley. The ride combines woodland tracks with a few optional jumps and long grassy stretches, ideal for a canter if you want one.

The route is approximately 5km and a steady hack around takes around 50minutes.  In addition to the stunning landscape you may be lucky enough to encounter some of the wildlife who live here.

The Woodland Ride is very popular as an introduction to cross country for young horses, and a favourite for non jumping riders who like to enjoy a variation from their normal hacking route.

Facilities & Pricing

The Cross Country Schooling Field includes a water jump and a variety of ditches, banks and technical obstacles over which to school your horse.  Jumps range from 40cm to over 1m.

The ride and field are available for hire subject to ground conditions and other activities.

XC Field: £27 per horse

Woodland ride: £27 per horse

Woodland Ride & XC Field: £32 per horse
